Our Story

At Simple as life should B, everything started with one very special soul: our dog, Bailey. Like any pet parent, we wanted the absolute best for him. We wanted treats made from real, wholesome ingredients that we could feel good about sharing every day. But as we looked around, we found the market was crowded with complicated labels and unnecessary fillers. We knew we could do better, not just as pet parents, but as researchers. With our professional backgrounds in metabolism, we understand deeply how nutrition impacts healthspan and quality of life. We believe that by giving Bailey the best possible fuel, we’re helping him stay strong and vibrant for all the adventures yet to come.

Our Philosophy

The name Simple as life should B is a tribute to the lessons Bailey teaches us every day: happiness doesn’t need to be complicated.

True joy is found in the simple things, like rolling in fresh grass, the first crunch of snow, or the way he greets us at the door after a long day. Bailey inspired us to create treats that reflect that same honesty. They are science-backed, made with love, and kept intentionally simple.

Because just like dogs make our lives better, we believe their treats should too.

From Boston to Alaska

Our journey took a literal turn when we packed up for a road trip from Boston to Alaska. Navigating those thousands of miles together taught us so much about ourselves. We faced challenges on the road, but having the three of us together made us realize we didn't need much to be happy. We learned to value the quiet, honest moments and discovered that life is at its best when it’s kept simple.

Finding Our Path

It was on the trails of the White Mountains in New Hampshire where we saw Bailey truly come alive. Seeing the pure joy he felt while hiking inspired us to become dedicated backpackers, making sure he had every opportunity to explore the Great Outdoors. Whether he’s summiting a peak with us or enjoying his daily run through the streets of Boston, Bailey is our constant reminder to stay moving.
